  • Futures Trading Platforms: How To Choose The Right One

Try to develop a trading strategy for your futures or forex trading is hard enough. Now you have to find the correct trading platform that matches your style of trading. Not all futures trading platforms are made the same or can fit all trading styles. You must determine what your needs are when debating platforms for which you can use to trade successfully.

As you research futures trading platforms also know that you are researching the online futures broker. So what are the questions you need to ask yourself, to ensure that you choose the right futures trading broker with the right futures trading platform?

So, before you research which futures trading platform and futures trading broker that you do select, evaluate yourself and find out are you going to day trade or hold positions overnight. There is no use receiving long term charts, having a full service broker and getting trade updates on a weekly basis if you are looking to day trade the S & P 500. By simply asking yourself this question will save loads of time and can hone your choices of selecting the right futures trading platform along with an online futures broker much easier and faster.

Your next step is to find out which platforms and online brokers you are interested in and speak to them so that you can explain to them what you need for your particular trading style or method

Understand that by doing this, you become a name that that futures broker will call in order to get your business

This is how they earn their living so you’ll need to be tolerable and not take it personally. They’ll want to know exactly how much trading experience you have, and how much money are you going to open your trading account for. These questions will directly effect how much commissions they will charge you. They are researching you just as much as you are researching them, so be prepared.

A very good day…how can I keep it this way?

Posted by admin on January 14th, 2009 and filed under day trading school | 1 Comment »

I’m only 18 and I think I made the worst possible choices in life about my social circle. I screwed up with 3 girls before we got started when crap was going good…I went to an all male high school….I went to a 9 month tech trade school that had no social circle so that was my college…..so to this day, I haven’t had a relationship with a girl or kissed one.

I have had confidence in myself for the most part and today I was at a big Job Fair in my city. On the way out I ended up talking with this really beautiful girl. We talked till we got to the parking lot and then I asked for her number (something I have never asked a girl before) but it turns out she is MARRIED. I just said “Aww are you sure?” we both laughed it off but it was no big deal. I told her good luck with her job hunting and that was it.

I knew she was in her 20’s by looking at her but didn’t expect that haha. Anyway, I wasnt upset, I was more overjoyed just cause I held up a nice convo and asked for her phone number. So now I have alot more confidence in myself.

Where can I unleash this before it fades? I don’t think it ever will though haha.

Keep going and see how it goes with the married woman.

    Joe.

How can I challenge federal demand for repayment of student loan when I attended school for only 40 days?

Posted by admin on January 12th, 2009 and filed under day trading school | 1 Comment »

Actually I’m asking this question for someone else who has been contacted by the government to repay a student loan taken out about 20 years ago. She’s a senior who receives Social Security Disability payments for a psychiatric problem she had when she attended a trade school with the help of a federal student loan. She attended approximately 2 months then could not continue because of her mental illness. It appears the school continued to collect payment for the full course even though she dropped out early. And now the federal government wants to collect the full loan which now amounts to $15,000. (which will be taken out of her monthly allotment of about $700.) Can someone suggest an agency in the state of New York that can help her with legal advice? She has no funds to pay for this assistance.
    Thank you so much,
    Tony
    Dingding,
she didn't get a penny of the loan. Every penny went to the school in question, directly from the government to the school. This person could not continue in school because of her illness and had no idea that the school would continue to charge the government or accept the whole loan when they did not teach her for more than two months.
To the others: She can not take another loan since her total income from SSI is $700 per month. Her illness and age prevent her from working.

I don’t get what the problem is, could you clarify? She took the money and spent it, correct? It’s not like she refused the loan. So why do either of you think she shouldn’t have to repay it? I know people who are still paying off their student loans 30 years after the fact. Sad, but true.

What Should I Do I Doing Bad in school?

Posted by admin on January 10th, 2009 and filed under day trading school | 5 Comments »

I have been attending college for two semester so far and things have been going very bad. i did terrible last semester and this semerster isnt going so well either. It seems like more and more problems keep coming. I'm constantly late for work so as a result I lofst my job. I have no way to support my self through school right now ( I have a schlorship but i may loose it because of bad grades) I can't sleep at night because Im so use to staying up. It throws my entire day out schedule. I feel like just quiting and going to a trade school or something. I heard that you make money faster. My major is computer science just to let you know. Any advise will help.

Do you and mom and dad still communicate?
Today's life is a bit ch and you are seeing what it is.
You to have a scholarship is a gamble in its self why because they do not know if the person you can handle the finical burden of it when you do get to school

That is why most of your classmates have either a part time like you had or mom and dad that send money to help.

You have tried all the college's help lines I imagine
So the only advice I can give if you have no support to fall upon is do as good as you can.

No this is not a cop out this is just what I had to do too when I got out of military academy and decided to stay in the Coast Guard till I retired. in 1998 after 30 years. I had no family to go home to.
