It says here 'margin account'. Is it safe to assume that if i do not trade on margin i do not have to have $25K in my account?

That rule only applies to margin accounts. If you do not have a margin account then you are ok but, the company that you trade with may have other rules. Usually, in a trade, the cash comes out of account on purchase but does not come into your account for three days. The account will say you have that money but can not use it. It is like depositing a check and not having the funds clear for a few days.

To become a commodity trader you need the series 3. But who are you selling to? I understand the concept of leverage and the potential profits/losses. Do you have to seek out clients or do the clients seek you out? Working for a firm, what happens when the contract expires and with the actual commodity? Can you give me a "day in your life" description? What degrees and other licenses/designations do you have?

Talk to some investment banks. The permits and licences required are very complex, and the trading even more so….think about it – how would you trade weather? Sell some heat or even rain? I got the Sprint HTC Mogul smartphone.

I use it for the wifi and calander..but so far, I rarely use any of that because the battery goes dead so fast within half a day.

I've keep all my programs off and do a soft reset everyday.

I also been posting on all types of messages boards thats handheld oriented and none of the help works (got a new PPC6800 w/ new battery; hacked the phone with battery/performance hacks; bad service is what drains the battery; etc). Now I'm down to a few options.

Either trade it in for a new non smartphone for sprint or get an extended battery.

get an extended battery. if u are over ur 30 days you cant trade in the phn. all pda's will have a small battery life due to all the applications it can run. also if you are in a poor coverage area where it has to search for signal then this will drain the battery life as well.

Since I find you look quite desperate in your intraday trading, I would like you to give some tricks of the trade. Of course free of cost !!
1. Don't try to take a big hand in one shot. BE A SCALPER.
It means try to do small trades and take small profits in maximum number of times in one trading session. you may incur loss also in several small trades. But the cumulative effect of the total sum may give you the required profit for the day.

2. Use Intraday charts for seeing the trend of the stock chosen. e.g. from icicidirect, yahoo finance etc.

3. Never try to trade against the trend of the stock & the market.

4. Always remain watchful for the overall effect of the market/index on the stock chosen.

5. Before starting the trade or choosing the stock it is always wise to watch it's previous charts and graph to find out it's (a) pattern of movement, (b) range of movement, (c) trend of movement and of course (d) support and resistance level for every range.

6. Always try to trade between the support and resistance level.

7. Always use limit prices and stoploss if possible.

And Lastly
8. Be confident, dececive and don't get emotionally attached to the stock.
9. Don't ever try to defeat or control the market or the stock or even never be revengeful to them.
10. Choose the stock whose trading volume is large i.e. it should not be <75000.
